The Utah Nordic Alliance, TUNA, is a ski club that promotes cross-country skiing in Salt Lake City and northern Utah.

The club was formed in 1990 as an alliance between the Park City Nordic Club and the Utah Nordic Ski Association. It is a non-profit organization, with activities organized by a 12-member Board of directors.

The club offers skiing and racing, with junior race programs, year-round training programs for all ages, trail grooming, and a race series.

TUNA offers recreational and social activities year-round. The club also maintains a yurt in the Uinta Mountains.

Mission

TUNA’s mission is to promote the sport of cross-country skiing and racing in Utah through information, education, coaching, facilitation, events, and social gatherings. These tasks are achieved through the work of nine sub-committees, where each Board member takes an active role.
