Mountain Dell is Salt Lake County’s sole skiers-only trail, groomed daily by TUNA volunteers. Mountain Dell offers about 10K of trails of varied difficulty, groomed for skate and classic.
This is watershed. Dogs are never allowed on course or in cars in the parking lot.
Day fee is $10, payable at the fee post or through Venmo or PayPal apps. Skiers under 18 years old or 70+ ski free.
Main, Mitten, Lower to Swanson’s, Lollypop, Kids cutoff, Boomerang and Wiggle Room were groomed for skate last night by Nils and Brandon. The classic was reset on most of the Main. The skiing should be really good with cold, firm snow early, progressively warming through the day. Creek is roped off. If you choose to duck the rope, be aware that there are two bare spots in corners that you will come upon at speed that will likely damage your skis and might cause injury.
The snow is holding but don’t wait too long to ski!
